Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast, and captain of the US female Olympic gymnastics 2012 Fierce Five team and in the year 2016. In 2016, she was part of the Final Five. In the 2012 Olympics she was awarded gold both on the team floor and the individual events. The bronze was won through the balance bar. This made her an the only American gymnast to compete at the Olympics to win the most medals. At the 2016, Olympics she took home gold in the team event which brought her as well as co-teammate Gabby Douglas the credit of being the first Americans to have two consecutive team golds. She also won two silver medals in the floor and for an individual all-around. In the three years between the Olympic Games she won the athlete took a break. Her gold medal winning American team also won two World Championships. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice when she was two and her favorite event is floor exercise. Aly participates in The Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization in honor and memory of her mother. Aly hopes to achieve the opportunity to have a career that is successful in fashion. Her signature leotards along with socks and other garments will be expanded in the future. Fierce - a novel she's writing, will be released this year.
